Many buyers only look at price, then regret it when the material fails testing and causes production problems. Toothpaste-grade silica has its own industry standard, QB/T 2346-2015. There are several core indicators you have to watch, or you'll run into issues without understanding why.
Zhongqi's entire toothpaste silica line complies with QB/T 2346-2015, and every batch goes through full standard testing before leaving the factory. We run our own microbial lab and physical/chemical testing lab with complete equipment — we don't rely solely on third-party testing.
Here are the key indicators every buyer should watch: Silica content (after ignition) ≥96% — we run above 98%. pH of 5% aqueous dispersion should be 5.5–8.5 per the standard — we control to a tighter 6.0–8.5 range. 325-mesh residue ≥98%, guaranteeing no oversized particles. Heavy metals: lead ≤15 mg/kg, arsenic ≤3 mg/kg — well below the national limit. Microbial indicators also fully pass, with total aerobic count ≤200 cfu/g.
Some lower-priced products have looser indicator controls — for example, lower purity or heavy metal levels close to standard limits. Issues may not appear short-term, but there is risk of quality fluctuation with long-term use. We issue a full COA for every batch with traceable data.
