ZLSIL-K70 Silica Anti-Blocking Agent

1. Product Description

ZLSIL-K70 is a synthetic amorphous plastic grade silica anti-blocking agent, presented as a fine white powder, manufactured via proprietary specialized production technology. Its CAS number is 112926-00-8 (former CAS No. 7631-86-9), EINECS No. 231-545-4.

This product features high whiteness and porous structure, with extremely low content of sodium, iron and other impurities. It has excellent compatibility with PP, PE, PET, PVC and other plastic resins, requires no grinding, with low addition dosage and good dispersibility, and will not affect the transparency and mechanical strength of plastic films. Non-toxic, pollution-free, free of volatile substances and precipitates, it effectively guarantees the appearance and quality of packaging products.

It reduces exposed molecular chains during polymer processing, avoids macromolecular chain entanglement when films come into contact, and achieves an efficient anti-blocking effect. Meanwhile, it reduces the friction adhesion of films to improve slip properties, enhances the anti-blocking performance and creep resistance of films in high-speed packaging lines, provides reinforcement for films, and is suitable for the production of anti-blocking masterbatches for various plastic films, especially for processing scenarios with high requirements for product whiteness and appearance.

4. Efficient Anti-blocking to Solve Adhesion ProblemsWith good particle size adaptability, it can form uniform micro-protrusions on the film surface, effectively reduce the contact area between films, solve the adhesion problem of films after rolling and high-temperature storage, with remarkable anti-blocking effect.

5. Compatible with Multi-substrate and Special Processing: It can be widely used in various anti-blocking masterbatches for PP, PE, PET, PVC plastic films. For the ultra-low moisture demand of PET film production, the product has no performance attenuation after drying below 300℃, matching the processing standards of PET films.

4. Storage & Handling Requirements

1. With high specific surface area, the product is easy to absorb moisture and volatile substances in the air. It shall be stored in a sealed condition in a dry, ventilated and cool environment, with a shelf life of 24 months in unopened condition. Application performance test must be completed before use beyond the shelf life, and the product can be put into production only after passing the test.

2. Dust prevention measures shall be taken during loading, unloading, transportation and use to prevent dust flying. The stacking height shall not exceed 10 layers to avoid extrusion damaging the particle structure of the product and affecting its dispersibility and anti-blocking performance.

3. During extrusion processing, equipment extrusion will reduce the dispersion effect of the product, so the dispersion time shall be appropriately extended. It is recommended to use the product immediately after opening to prevent the attenuation of anti-blocking and dispersion performance due to moisture absorption.
